Tipped mohair has been used in the creation of Steiff bears for decades. As an early innovation of the German fabric Steiff Schulte, tipped mohair was readily embraced by Steiff designers when it was first introduced. Even today, tipped mohair retains its appeal. As proof, we present our gorgeous new Ben Teddy bear. Ben´s coat is made of beige mohair with a brown tipping. This special colouring process adds texture, richness, and depth.
