EAN 035739 Steiff Monty Teddy Bear has been made by Steiff for the spring 2012 collection.
Teddy Monty is different - in each and every way.
He's a color never before done in Steiff's long, rich history.
His mohair is a hand-dyed batik, deep-purple short pile with a light purple cotton backing.
As a finishing touch, a very subtle but visible coat of gold airbrushing was added.
As a special finish Steiff Monty EAN 035739 wears a hand-cast bronze Blossom Bell on a gold cord.
This type of bell was originally used for special ceremonies in India.
Steiff Monty's nose and claws are hand-stitched with matching embroidery thread and his paw and foot pads are sewn from custom-made wool felt.
Shake him softly and you will hear his Teddy bear voice in perfect harmony with the ringing of his sweet bell.
Monty is a worldwide limited edition of 1.500 pieces.
