Steiff Xenia Mouse EAN 006142 is made for the 2021 Steiff collection.
Xenia is the 3rd in our series of mice holding their favourite Steiff teddy bear.
She is made from wool plush. with a lace collar and delicate flower decoration.
Xenia illustrates that no matter how small you are, everyone needs a teddy bear to hug!
The design for this miniature teddy bear is inspired by a red teddy from 1908, made as a prototype.
The red sample became the lifelong companion and best friend to a Russian Princess, named Xenia.
In 1989 the bear became the first antique Teddy bear to set a world record at auction.

This little mouse is the successor of Peky Mouse (2020) and  Maggy Mouse (2019)
This cute little fellow is 11 cm. / 4 inches tall and limited to 1500 pieces.
The arms and the heaf od the mouse are jointed. The small teddy bear is fully string jointed.
Of course, she is wearing the famous gold-plated button in ear.
