Charlie Bears Gus
This selection of bears we fondly call our hat series have obviously all visited the Madhatters shop here at the Bearhouse gallery! Back in 2015 we first introduced this new miniseries into our mohair collection with characters who all wore hats, Cozy Toes, Blanket and Frost were all adored by our collectors and so Charlie wanted to create more in this series which we are sure will be loved as much as their older cousins. Gus, the largest of our new bears within the series has been made using a mixture of both a soft cream Alpaca and a curly honey coloured Mohair. This large weighty bear is fully jointed and has flat paw pads which enable him to stand. He has a hand embroidered nose and glass eyes like his other friends but we have also added an open mouth detail to really show off his personality. His accessories are oversized so he still has room to grow into them!!
