He leafs through earlier catalogues, looks at historical successes, and interprets old cutting patterns. He demonstrates that Steiff is still the home of a traditional craft. We salute the first of the new Steiff Classic bears: welcome back Jackie Teddy bear! In 1953, Jackie first went travelling, commemorating the 50th Teddy anniversary. He has thrilled Steiff enthusiasts worldwide - and at times commanded high prices. The 5-way articulated Jackie of 2015 is very similar to his predecessor: with a thick coat of finest mohair, the cute stature and pink satin bow. A gold-plated "Button in Ear" completes the classic look. And he is smiling as he did in the past -perhaps even a little bit more.
