Steiff Winnie the Pooh 95th anniversary Bear EAN 355868 is made for the Steiff 2021 fall collection.
This Steiff Pooh Bear is a very special one because Pooh is celebrating its 95th birthday.
The first book was published by A.A. Milne in 1926with drawings of E.H.Shepherd.
In the early 1960s, Walt Disney acquired the rights to A.A. Milne’s Winnie the Pooh character. Because Walt fondly recalled reading the Pooh stories to his daughters, he was pleased to bring the character into the Disney fold. Under his supervision, Pooh’s design was modernized for his first screen appearance in “Winnie the Pooh and the Honey Tree”, a 1966 theatrical short film. Pooh’s new look in this film would become the definitive version of the character for a new generation of fans – those born from the 1960s through to today. 
This Pooh Bear is the 1st Pooh bear made of paper plush, with Violan felt paw pads, which gives him a very special look.
He is wearing a red linen shirt, as known in all the Disney movies.
He is filled with recycled PET bottles fibers, so he belongs to the Teddie for Tomorrow series and is completely biological.

Winnie the Pooh is a limited edition of 1926 pieces and comes with his numbered certificate in a Steiff gift box with its original protective cardboard outer sleeve.
